Fuel Injection (DPF-RID)

A fuel vapouriser will be used to regenerate the filter while the machine is operating. Fuel will be injected through the electric heated vapouriser and will be oxidised over the installed catalyst to reach 600C to burn and remove the collected carbon. These systems use diesel fuel from the tank and on-board voltage.

Advantage: For use as emergency regeneration together with (C)CRT® or as a standalone system for Tier 4 engines.

Condition: >240C to 260C catalyst temperature during the regeneration.
