Johnson Matthey is a leading supplier of retrofit diesel emissions control systems for non-road machinery.

Exchangeable Filter System (DPF-C)

These systems follow the same principle as the DPFi. The difference is that the electrical heater is in a stand-alone regeneration station and not inside the filter unit itself. This means that the filter element must be dismounted from the machine and placed on a regeneration station where it is heated to remove the soot.

Advantages: there is no restriction on operating temperature or fuel type. Machines can continue working with a second filter while the first regenerates.

Conditions: requires active regeneration when particulate filter is full. The filter unit must be dismounted for regeneration.
